These are only few of the hundreds of comments written by those who participate at PAMEMMAZI’s (which translates to “let’s go together”) activities, your organisation, Emma, an organisation you had dreamed of and were planning to establish from your hospital bed even few days before you passed away. The organisation that already accounts for more than 2,000 participants in its programs during the last couple of years at the General Oncology Hospital of Kifisia “Aghioi Anargyroi”, an organisation that grows and evolves day by day.

On Saturday, February 22, the organisation that bears Emma’s name, is hosting its 3rd Forum titled “Integrative approaches to cancer care: Evidence and Strategies” with the participation of scientists, health experts and patients from Greece and abroad. The event will run from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and will be held at The American College of Greece at Agia Paraskevi. This will not be your memorial, Emma. It will be an event to take your work forward and celebrate your life, to see and get inspired by your smile, which is so generously shared among those who participate in PAMEMMAZI’s activities. We pencil in our calendars: Saturday, February 22, 2020. We will be there, all of us who loved you, knew you, learned of you. For your smile. For the smile of all cancer patients.
